In januari 2008 werd Affliction verbannen als sponsor binnen de UFC omdat het kledingmerk plannen had om zelf een Mixed Martial Arts evenement te organiseren. Vanaf vandaag zal Affliction weer toegelaten worden bij de UFC en zal Affliction zich terug trekken als organisator en zich alleen nog bezig houden met het sponsoren van vechters.
